PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF SINGARENI COLLIERIES COMPANY LIMITED
Abstract
The present article assessed the performance of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) from different dimensions such as coal production, coal productivity, sales, cost of sales to sales, net worth, debt-equity ratio, average collection period and earnings per share. The study results show that the company needs to improve its performance in production and productivity. In addition, the company needs to take measures to lower the average collection period for it helps in improving the quality of debtors or improving the liquidity position of the company.
